Ms. Sangha
I was born in India and grew up in Williams Lake, B.C., Canada. I went to the University of British Columbia. In 1990 I married and moved to San Jose. Raj, my husband is an electric engineer. I started teaching at Price in the 1990-1991 school year. I have two children, a twenty-thre year old son, Harmeeth (graduated from UC Santa Barbara this year ), and a 19 year old girl, Gurneet (Valentine baby) attending SFSU - sophmore).
I have always had a passion for teaching. I believe teachers are facilitators of learning. This in turn helps students become critical thinkers and excellent problem solvers. In my classroom students quickly learn that memorizing formulas and algorithms does not help them succeed in the classroom or in the real world. We explore "why" behind each problem, learn to derive formulas and solve real life problems.
